You do not need a referral to book an appointment. However, if you would like to access the Medicare Rebate, you will need a valid Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) and referral from a GP.
-
With a valid Mental Health Care Plan and GP referral, you can access a Medicare rebate, reducing your out-of-pocket cost to approximately $40 per session.
Under the Better Access initiative, Medicare rebates up to 10 individual therapy sessions per calendar year. An initial referral usually covers 6 sessions, with a GP review required for any additional sessions.

All sessions are delivered via secure telehealth. This allows clients across Australia to access psychological support from the privacy and comfort of their own space.
Online therapy follows the same professional and ethical standards as in-person care.

I support individuals experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, mood difficulties, identity challenges, cultural and intergenerational conflict, adjustment to life transitions, coping with medical or health-related changes and much more.
If you are unsure whether your concern is suitable for therapy, you are welcome to make an enquiry.

Confidentiality is a fundamental part of psychological practice. Information shared in sessions is kept private in accordance with professional and legal standards. Limits to confidentiality (such as risk of harm) will be discussed clearly at the beginning of therapy.
-
Sessions are typically held weekly or fortnightly, depending on your goals and clinical needs. Frequency may be adjusted over time to fit your needs or as progress is made.
-
Sessions are approximately 60 minutes, with the standards session being 50 minutes.

Working with me is collaborative, structured, and grounded in empathy.
From the outset, we take time to clarify what brings you to therapy and what you would like to achieve. Sessions are guided by evidence-based approaches, while remaining responsive to your individual experiences, values, and cultural context.
I aim to create a space that feels respectful, steady, and free of judgement. You can expect thoughtful questions, practical strategies, and space for reflection. Therapy is not about being “fixed”, it is about developing insight, strengthening coping skills, and building meaningful change over time.
Progress looks different for everyone. Some sessions may feel reflective and exploratory, while others may focus on structured skill-building. Throughout the process, we work as a team, with openness and mutual respect.

My work is grounded in evidence-based psychological approaches tailored to each client’s needs and goals.
I draw primarily from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other structured, research-supported interventions. Depending on the presentation, therapy may also incorporate elements of mindfulness-based strategies, behavioural approaches, and trauma-informed care.
Rather than applying a single model rigidly, I integrate techniques thoughtfully to ensure the approach aligns with your individual circumstances, cultural context, and treatment objectives.
At the core of my practice is a commitment to delivering therapy that is both scientifically grounded and practically meaningful.

If you are seeking support for a child or adolescent, I recommend consulting your GP for a referral to a psychologist who specialises in working with younger populations.
